Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Economics, Business and Administration (JEBA) undergo a rigorous and transparent review process to ensure the highest academic standards. JEBA employs a Double-Blind Peer Review system, where the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept confidential throughout the process.

The review workflow follows these stages:

  1. Initial Desk Review: Each submission is first screened by the Editor-in-Chief or Managing Editor to check for alignment with the journal's focus and scope, basic formatting, and plagiarism (maximum similarity index: 20%).

  2. Peer Review Assignment: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers from the Reviewer Board based on their expertise.

  3. Review Evaluation: Reviewers assess the manuscript based on its originality, methodology, clarity of results, and contribution to the fields of economics or administration.

  4. Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor will make one of the following decisions:

    • Accepted: The manuscript is ready for publication.

    • Minor Revisions: Authors must address small suggestions for improvement.

    • Major Revisions: Significant changes are required before further consideration.

    • Rejected: The manuscript does not meet the journal's standards.

  5. Final Approval: The final decision regarding publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief.
