However, rural communities, particularly the elderly, still experience limited understanding of the registration process due to limited knowledge, education, and access to information. This study aims to improve public understanding of the hospital registration process through educational activities led by health cadres. The method used was direct community education, providing material and guidance related to the hospital registration process. The results showed an increase in public understanding of the hospital registration process, which impacted patient readiness to access healthcare services appropriately. A well-understood registration process contributes to reduced administrative barriers, service efficiency, and improved patient experience. Thus, education on the hospital registration process plays a crucial role in supporting optimal and sustainable healthcare services.
2025-09-29T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://journals.ubmg.ac.id/index.php/JHSS/article/view/2619 PERAN KULIAH KERJA MANDIRI MAHASISWA DALAM PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT DESA POPAYA, KECAMATAN DENGILO, KABUPATEN POHUWATO 2026-01-30T07:40:54+00:00 Nuzmerini Rauf iinnuzmerini@gmail.com Tri Setiawati Maulana tri.setiawati@ubmg.ac.id Sarajudin J Ibrahim fatmaabdullah971@gmail.com Fatma Abdullah fatmaabdullah971@gmail.com Selawati Yahya selawatiyahya20@gmail.com Nuralya I Tialo nuralyatialo04@gmail.com Maryam Mailantang mailantangmaryam3@gmail.com Delvi Lihawa delvilihawa22@gmail.com
The Independent Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Mandiri/KKM) is a form of community engagement carried out by university students as part of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. This program aims to develop students’ competencies while empowering local communities through the direct application of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. This article describes the implementation, methods, and outcomes of the Independent Community Service Program conducted by students of Universitas Bina Mandiri Gorontalo in 2025 at Popaya Village, Dengilo District, Pohuwato Regency. The methods applied in this program included field observation, interviews with village officials and community members, and active student participation in various community-based activities. Based on the village situation analysis, several programs were implemented, including the installation of road direction signs, the creation of waste education boards, integrated health service activities (posyandu), free malaria screenings, environmental clean-up activities, and mini soccer activities in collaboration with local youth organizations. The results indicate that the implementation of the KKM program had a positive impact on increasing community awareness of environmental cleanliness, public health, and social cohesion. Community participation in health services and collective activities increased, and effective collaboration was established among students, village authorities, health workers, and community members. In addition, the program provided meaningful experiential learning opportunities for students to apply academic knowledge and develop social responsibility. Despite challenges such as limited funding, facilities, and weather conditions, all programs were successfully implemented through strong coordination and community support.
2025-09-29T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://journals.ubmg.ac.id/index.php/JHSS/article/view/1300 SOSIALISASI DAN EDUKASI PEDULI KESEHATAN MENTAL REMAJA DI MTS ALKHAIRAAT MOUTONG DESA MOUTONG TENGAH KECAMATAN MOUTONG KABUPATEN PARIGI MOUTONG PROVINSI SULAWESI TENGAH 2026-01-30T08:40:05+00:00 Tri Setiawati Maulana tri.setiawati@ubmg.ac.id Yolanda Ngabito yolandangabito@ubmg.ac.id Novarita Ismail novaritaismail9@gmail.com
Mts Alkhairaat Moutong adolescents do not fully understand adolescent mental health, so this study aims to increase adolescent knowledge so that they can deal with existing problems with a positive mindset and the mental health of each teenager can be stable.
