Publication Ethic

Publication Ethic This statement clarifies the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article in this journal, including the Author, the Editor-in-Chief, the Editorial Board, the Peer Reviewers, and the Publisher (Universitas Bina Mandiri Gorontalo).

Duties of Editors:

  • Publication Decisions: The editor is responsible for deciding which articles should be published based on validity and scientific importance.

  • Fair Play: Manuscripts are evaluated for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, religious belief, or citizenship of the authors.

  • Confidentiality: Editors must not disclose information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the author and the reviewers.

Duties of Reviewers:

  • Contribution: Peer review assists the editor in making decisions and helps authors improve their papers.

  • Standards of Objectivity: Reviews should be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate.

  • Acknowledgement of Sources: Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors.

Duties of Authors:

  • Reporting Standards: Authors must present an accurate account of the work performed and an objective discussion of its significance.

  • Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that they have written entirely original works. Plagiarism in all its forms is unacceptable.

  • Multiple Publication: Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently is unethical and unacceptable.

 

 

Publication Ethic Pernyataan kode etik ini memperjelas perilaku etis semua pihak yang terlibat dalam penerbitan artikel di Jurnal Ilmiah dr. Aloei Saboe, termasuk Penulis, Editor, Mitra Bestari, dan Penerbit (E-Journal Universitas Bina Mandiri Gorontalo).

Tugas Editor:

  • Keputusan Publikasi: Menjamin kualitas naskah dan memutuskan artikel mana yang layak terbit.

  • Keadilan (Fair Play): Menilai naskah secara objektif tanpa membedakan ras, gender, agama, atau latar belakang penulis.

  • Kerahasiaan: Tidak membocorkan informasi naskah kepada siapapun selain pihak yang berkepentingan dalam proses publikasi.

Tugas Mitra Bestari (Reviewer):

  • Kontribusi: Membantu editor dalam mengambil keputusan dan memberikan masukan konstruktif bagi penulis.

  • Objektivitas: Penelaahan dilakukan secara profesional dan didukung oleh argumentasi yang jelas.

  • Keamanan Data: Tidak menggunakan data dari naskah yang direview untuk kepentingan pribadi.

Tugas Penulis:

  • Standar Pelaporan: Menyajikan data yang akurat dan objektif. Pernyataan yang tidak jujur atau sengaja tidak akurat merupakan perilaku tidak etis.

  • Orisinalitas: Menjamin bahwa karya yang ditulis adalah asli dan telah memberikan sitasi yang benar pada karya orang lain yang dikutip.

  • Bebas Plagiarisme: Plagiarisme dalam segala bentuk tidak dapat ditoleransi.

  • Kepengarangan: Penulis harus terbatas pada mereka yang memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam penelitian.
